The Studio Story
Started in a closet, made on Crosby Street
Eleven years ago Margaux Lefevre quit a job she liked, rented a bench at a shared studio in Brooklyn, and gave herself a year to make jewelry work. The studio is on Crosby Street now, four benches deep, and the rules from that first year have not changed. Make the boring pieces well. Make them in real metal. Price them like you intend to still be making them in twenty years.
